MonoBoost Privacy Policy (the "Policy") explains all the privacy matters you may face when using our website, https://www.mnboost.com and other websites run by MonoBoost (the "Website") and MonoBoost mobile and web-based applications (the "App"), jointly the "Service", operated by Mnboost Corp. ("MonoBoost" or "we"). This Policy is an integral part of the MonoBoost Terms of Use (the "Terms") and incorporated by reference into them. Please read this Policy carefully and if you have any ongoing questions about how to exercise your rights, etc., you may also contact us at support@mnboost.com.
Some services which may be employed by either MonoBoost or you to interact with the Services may have their own privacy rules (third-party privacy policies). Thus, if your personal data is processed by such services, such processing is governed by third-party privacy policies, not this present Policy.
Mnboost Corp., a legal entity incorporated under the laws of Delaware, USA, having its business address at 302 E. Carson Street, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89101, USA, will be the controller of your personal data.
By using the Service, you agree that collection and processing of your data will be covered by the terms of this Policy. In some circumstances, we may provide you with additional or supplemental privacy notices to the extent they apply to you because of the products and services you obtain from us or different laws that may apply to you.
By using any of our Services, you acknowledge the privacy practices we describe in this Privacy Policy. You also acknowledge that you have read this policy and any other policies described (if any).
What and How We Collect Your Personal Information
Here at MonoBoost we usually collect the information you provide to us through your interactions with our Website and App. During your interactions with our Services, we might also collect additional information from you, necessary for us to perform our Services.
- Identifiers such as a real name, alias, unique personal identifier, online identifier, internet protocol address, email address, account name, driver's license number, passport number or other similar identifiers
- Personal information, such as name, physical characteristics or description, telephone number, passport number, driver's license or state identification card number, education, employment, bank account number, credit card number, debit card number, or any other financial information, medical information
- Commercial information, including records of products or services purchased or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies
- Inferences drawn from any of the personal information listed above to create a profile or summary about, for example, an individual's preferences and characteristics
Use of Third-Party "Unsubscribe" Feature
When you use our "Unsubscribe" function in connection with a third-party service provider, we may process certain data associated with your account on that service provider's platform. This may include your name, nickname or username, email address, mobile phone number, and account credentials or other identifiers linked to your account with the third-party provider. We collect and process this information solely for the purpose of executing your unsubscribe request. We do not use this information for any unrelated purposes.
Please note we collect personal data directly from you and we may also receive some of your personal data from third parties. For example:
- From identity, verification or other know-your-client services
- From credit bureaus
- From advertising networks
- From mailing list providers
- From data brokers
- From other service providers, as from time to time may be deemed necessary for us
Our Services also may allow or require you to integrate or connect your MonoBoost account with third-party services through service providers (such as Plaid for financial-account connectivity, or by connecting a Google account for the optional Email-Based Subscription Detection feature, which is governed by the separate MonoBoost Google User Data Policy).
There are also some categories of information we might collect automatically:
- Transactional Information: When you make a purchase or complete a transaction, we collect information about the transaction, such as product or service details, financial details and the date and location of the transaction.
- Device and Usage Information: We collect information about how you access our Services, including data about the device and network you use, such as hardware model, operating system version, mobile network, IP address, unique device identifiers, browser type, and app version. We also collect information about your activity on our Services, such as access times, pages viewed, links clicked, and the page you visited before navigating to our Services.
- Location Information: In accordance with your device permissions, we may collect information about the precise location of your device. You may stop the collection of precise location information at any time.
- Information Collected by Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies: We use tracking technologies, such as cookies and web beacons, to collect information about your interactions with the Services and in our emails to help deliver cookies, count visits, and understand usage and campaign effectiveness.
How We Use Your Personal Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our Services. We also use the information we collect based on the following legal bases:
- Performance of the contract with you — the main legal basis that we use to process your data. It includes mostly everything we do to provide you with services under our Terms of Use.
- Legal obligation — we may process your data when required by applicable laws, e.g., in order to prevent fraud or assist law enforcement bodies.
- Legitimate interest — we have a commercial interest to process your personal data that is justified, balanced and does not infringe on your privacy (e.g., statistical reporting). You have a right to object to our use of your data on this basis.
- Consent — we may process some of your data when we have your consent to do so. The optional Email-Based Subscription Detection feature operates on the basis of your consent and is governed by the separate MonoBoost Google User Data Policy.
We typically use the information you provide us for the following purposes:
- Fulfill or deliver the services you requested
- Provide, maintain, improve and develop new products, services and features
- Personalize your experience with us
- Send you technical notices, security alerts, support messages and other transactional messages
- Communicate with you about products, services, and events offered by MonoBoost
- Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our products and services
- Personalize the advertisements you see on third-party platforms and websites
- Detect, investigate, and help prevent security incidents and other malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity
- Comply with our legal and financial obligations
- Create de-identified, anonymized or aggregated information
Location and Duration of Processing
Your data will be stored within the term of your use of the Services and up to the termination of such use. In practice, we delete or anonymize your information upon termination of your profile or after two years of your continuous inactivity.
Terms of Deletion. All your data is to be fully erased (or anonymised) within 7 calendar days following deletion of your MonoBoost profile, except:
- In-app features and subscription purchases, retained for 5 years from account deletion
- Support tickets, emails with our support team and your name, retained for 5 years from account deletion
- Hashed email address, phone number, IP address, profile ID and device ID associated with banned accounts, retained for 5 years from account deletion
- Financial-transaction records required for tax purposes, typically seven years under applicable U.S. federal and state law
Removed and deleted data may be hosted in backup copies for up to 30 days, but will not be available to others in the meantime. Our servers are based in the USA, so your data may be processed and hosted outside the EU.
How We Share Your Personal Information
We share information about you in the following circumstances:
- With companies, professional advisors, and contractors that perform services for us, such as web hosting, identity verification, fraud prevention, payment processing, customer support, analytics, and marketing
- With business partners that provide products or services you request or that jointly offer products and services with us
- If required by any applicable law or legal process, including tax filings, regulatory requests, court orders, or law enforcement requests
- If we believe it is necessary to protect the rights, property, and safety of MonoBoost, our users, or others
- In connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business
- Between MonoBoost and its affiliates
- With your consent or at your direction
We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you. We do not sell your personal data.
Security
We incorporate commercially reasonable safeguards to help protect and secure your data, including encryption of data in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher) and at rest, multi-factor authentication on administrative access, role-based access controls, security logging and monitoring, and regular vulnerability management. However, no electronic data transmission or storage of information can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. You use the Service and provide us with your information at your own risk.
Tracking
Software Development Kits and Local Storage Objects
Amplitude JavaScript SDK (Supplier: Amplitude, Inc.) — collects number of users and sessions, session duration, operating systems, device models, geography, and other usage data. We use this data to analyze active users, improve our application, and make our services more relevant to you.
Local Storage Objects (LSO) are similar to cookies and are used when you use our progressive web application (PWA) on a mobile device. Once applied, LSOs collect data on a fact of PWA install and use only.
Analytics
We allow others to provide analytics services in connection with our Services. These entities may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, and other technologies to collect information about your use of our Services, including your IP address, web browser, mobile network information, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and links clicked.
Plaid Technologies
MonoBoost enables you to use Plaid Technologies, Inc. to gather data from financial institutions. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that your information will be processed in accordance with the Plaid Privacy Policy.
Children's Privacy
MonoBoost products are not intended for children. We don't direct our Services to persons under 18, or knowingly attempt to solicit or receive information from children.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA) or the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). These rights typically include:
- The right to know what personal data we hold about you and how we use it
- The right to access a copy of that data
- The right to correct inaccurate data
- The right to delete your data, subject to legal exceptions
- The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal data — note that MonoBoost does not sell your personal data
- The right to portability — to receive your data in a portable form
- The right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these rights, write to us at support@mnboost.com from the email address associated with your MonoBoost account. You can also delete your MonoBoost account directly from inside the App.
Reporting Security Vulnerabilities
If you believe you have discovered a security vulnerability in MonoBoost or our Services, please report it to us privately at security@mnboost.com. Please include a clear description of the issue, steps to reproduce it, and any supporting material. We aim to acknowledge receipt within three business days and share an initial assessment within ten business days.
We will not pursue legal action against researchers who report findings in good faith, avoid privacy violations and destruction of data, and give us a reasonable opportunity to fix the issue before any public disclosure.
Special Rules for the Email-Based Subscription Detection Feature
If you choose to use MonoBoost's optional Email-Based Subscription Detection feature, additional rules apply to information received from Google APIs (including Gmail). Those rules are set out in the separate MonoBoost Google User Data Policy.
By initiating the Email-Based Subscription Detection feature, you agree to the MonoBoost Google User Data Policy in addition to this Privacy Policy. If you do not use this feature, the MonoBoost Google User Data Policy does not apply to you.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Where the change is material, we will notify you in advance through in-App notification or email, and, where required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent to the updated terms before applying them.
